HISTORY OF STOVER
Stover, Missouri like many communities that make up this great country, has a unique and rich history that should be passed on from generation to the next. The recorded history of the Stover area starts over 193 years ago, when men first settled the timber and prairie lands of western Morgan County (organized 1833).

Volunteer Committees
Our volunteers are critical to the success of the Stover Area Chamber of Commerce. Our committees assist in prioritizing, planning, and coordinating much of the Chamber’s initiatives each year.
Join a committee today to further your interests, be informed on topics affecting our businesses and communities, and make new business connections. Our committees typically meet once per month.

Chamber Ambassadors
Chamber Ambassadors serve as a core group to assist in recruiting and retaining members. They assist with many tasks including ribbon cuttings, serving as greeters and visiting with Chamber members at Rooster Booster and many other Chamber events. This group is a great way for members to be active in the Chamber and make business-to-business connections. We encourage you to watch the calendar and attend a committee meeting of interest and then join in!
Friends of the Chamber
Want to support the community initiatives of the Chamber of Commerce as an individual but not a business? Join as a Friends of the Chamber member. Your membership allows local residents to support our initiatives, serve as board members and enjoy Chamber benefits without owning a registered company.
